Please note that these glazing channels are made from extruded, anodized aluminum with finishes that mimic the appearance of chrome, nickel, and other materials. The powder-coated finishes are indeed powder coated.
Installation Uses: Designed for use with monolithic tempered glass, our glazing channels are typically used at the bottom of glass panels. They can be used with either silicone (wet) or glazing gaskets (dry) for installation flexibility. (We also provide dry glazing strips separately, see other listings.)
Matching End Caps: For a clean and finished look, matching end caps are available (sold separately if required, see other listings).
Features and Installation: Our U-Channels offer a cost-effective solution for glazing heavy glass panels. The combination of Deep U-Channel on the top and Shallow U-Channel on the bottom allows for the efficient "lift and drop" method of glazing. The glass can be securely held in place using silicone sealant or our Top Load Roll-In Glazing Gasket.
